One From The Weekend: Jennifer and David at Circa 1876, Hunter Valley

The second of last weekend's Hunter Valley weddings was, by pure coincidence, also at Circa 1876. But as we always say every wedding is unique, and Jennifer and David's day was by no means a repeat of the previous day.

For example, I very nearly chose to share an image from the reception when David surprised his new bride by playing his guitar and beautifully singing a song that he had written in secret for her. But instead I thought I'd share this intimate moment. It's a bit darker and moodier than you may expect to see from me but I like the contrast with the gorgeous light coming through the stained glass window. What do you think?

One From The Weekend: Kara and Anthony at Peppers Convent, Hunter Valley

We've been to many types of places for location photos but very rarely do we go to the couple's hotel room. However, Kara and Anthony's Hunter Valley wedding was at Circa 1876, conveniently located just a short walk from Peppers Convent where they were staying. We did, of course, make use of the gorgeous grounds of Circa for photos, but as the sun dipped behind the trees the temperature started to plummet, so we headed to the convent where Kara could find warmth in their room and the arms of her husband.
