What do you get if you take a gorgeous couple who met through Tinder, some super cute kiddies, a tea ceremony, a champagne tower, a surprise lion dance, and a spot of crowd surfing to The White Tree Band and and mix them together in a heritage-listed building on a beautiful autumn day, AND THEN throw in an invitation to a random stranger’s rooftop at sunset? You get Amy and Nikky’s epic Paddington Town Hall wedding of course, DUH!Read More
It was a long awaited and much anticipated return to Centennial Park for Sammy and Nick’s wedding on Friday. Almost a year ago we photographed Nick’s brother Anthony’s wedding at Bondi Beach and we couldn’t wait to catch up with their fantastic family and friends again.Read More
It was a wedding thirteen years in the making for high school sweethearts Eliza and Matt. Despite numerous nudges and hints it was patience that their friends and family had to exercise and that virtue was finally rewarded on, fittingly, Grand Final weekend.Read More
It was an exciting day for us as we had the pleasure of working with yet another amazing couple as well as shooting in two new venues and managing one of our biggest weddings yet!Read More
We’re just a few days into spring, but the sunny and 31C weather forecast couldn’t have been more perfect for Miriam and Tom’s wedding at their favourite beach, Balmoral.
The day started in a more formal manner, however, with both the boys and girls getting ready in the historic surrounds of the spectacular Westin Sydney. Now, in situations like this we’re used to the girls having the better of the two rooms due to the extra space required for hair and make-up and, well, because girls. But Miriam’s room was on a completely new level. Due to a housekeeping issue this bride found herself upgraded to the Presidential Suite! The images here should give you a feel for the space but let’s just say it was larger than most people’s homes and I’m now concerned that I’ll struggle shooting in a standard sized room (not really).
Once we reluctantly vacated the hotel it was all sunshine and sunscreen through the ceremony on Rocky Point Island and photos along The Esplanade before finishing up at one of our favourite venues, the Public Dining Room.Read More
Gee I love Filo weddings. They just seem to have the perfect mix of culture, tradition, emotion, amazing smiles, and bad ass dance moves. It could just be that the fantastic Maria and Gerald came from perfect families and happened to invite the perfect crowd, but I’m guessing that their day is pretty much par for the course for this friendly and graceful nation.Read More
Over the last seven years we've photographed around 250 weddings and from that combined experience I can definitively say there is nothing better to witness, capture and be smack bang in the middle of than the hora at a Jewish wedding. There is absolutely nothing that comes close to that twenty minutes of intense, sweaty, frenetic mayhem! Lauren and Ezechiel's had their wedding at Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery, a fantastic space that fortunately had high ceilings, allowing for stunts such as flying and jumping through the air and the ever popular chair lift. We burned through around a thousand images (and two gallons of sweat!) during their hora which resulted in a heck of a lot more editing work, but it's all well worth it!Read More
From the bride and groom: "OMG! We love these (sneak peek) photos so much!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! We absolutely loved having you both at the wedding. Amanda and Anthony tied the knot at Bondi Beach, the place I called home for most of my time in Australia. Many things have changed since I left the eastern suburbs including the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club which has been transformed into an architectural statement. It also makes a pretty good location for photos!
From the bride and groom: "These shots look amazing! Thank you so much for your help on the day. You were both great and we don’t think it could have gone any better."Read More
