Autumn has arrived in Sydney and the temperatures have plunged. But on this particular Saturday, the sun decided to deliver warmth and beautiful light for two of the sweetest people in the whole world as they pledged their lives to each other: Monika and Ron.

The day started with Monika's prep at a specially hired apartment. To say she emerged from her dressing room looking like a model is an understatement, and I'm pretty sure I saw Ron's legs wobble when he first saw her as he arrived for the tea ceremony!

The tea ceremony was a small and intimate affair which reflected Ron's Chinese heritage and involved his parents and family who had made the journey from Canada and Hong Kong.

The knot was then tied at the impressive Our Lady Of Dolours church in Chatswood where Monika's father decided to overturn Polish tradition and proudly walked his daughter down the aisle.

Killara Golf Club was hosting the reception and its gentlemen's club atmostphere gave a real sense of occasion. We arrived with plenty of light for photos and headed out onto the golf course in a couple of buggies - something I had arranged in advance with the pro shop during my location check a couple of weeks prior.

And as the sun descended, it delivered the amazing golden hue that photographers crave, resulting in some spectacular images.

Back at the clubhouse the guests were locating their tables using seating plans which, to my delight, featured photos from the Love Session I shot with Monika and Ron a month earlier.

The rest of the evening was filled with fun, laughter, heartfelt speeches and a wonderful bridal waltz where Ron demonstrated his special moves!
