All my clients are special to me, but Tian and Gerald will always be particularly important. Why? Well they're the first clients to book me for a wedding without ever having met me. That's huge (and I mean HUGE) because that meant they had enough faith in me, a complete stranger, to entrust me with capturing the most important day of their lives.
What it also meant was that I had no idea what they looked like! They were just names in my client database, and as I like to know my clients as much as possible before the wedding day this would normally cause me to get a tad concerned. However, their wedding story collection included a Love Session and this would provide a perfect opportunity for us to meet and get to know each other before the big day.
Choosing the location for a Love Session is always important. A pretty or eye-catching environment is essential and if possible I like to avoid crowds; something that can be tricky when it's a warm and sunny Saturday and the first weddings of spring are underway! So we decided to avoid the CBD and parks and instead take a stroll around Sydney's beautiful and exclusive suburb of Vaucluse.
It was exciting to finally meet Tian and Gerald and I was thrilled to find out that they are a totally gorgeous couple! We spent the afternoon bonding, laughing and shooting and I now can't wait for their wedding in November. That brings me to another reason why I'll always remember them. Their wedding date is 11.11.11.
I hope you enjoyed my work! If you did then please spread the photo love through some sweet, sweet TLC (Tweet, Like or Comment)! Thanks!
