For PR girl Sarah, this was not a typical Friday lunchtime.

Instead of wining and dining in one of Sydney's finest restaurants, she was instead on the 24th floor of the Intercontinental Hotel preparing to be wed. The vista window in her room provided a spectacular view of the Royal Botanic Gardens below where the ceremony would take place in just a few hours.

Meanwhile her groom Phil and his best man Chris were preparing in their room with the aid of a few tipples of fine whisky!

However, Sarah and Phil are actually very active and sporty, so when I spotted the "his and hers" bottles of water in the groom's room I knew they would make perfect accessories for a shot of the wedding bands.

The ceremony took place on the Band Lawn, close to both the water and also the Botanic Restaurant which was being prepared for the reception. A string quartet played and a hundred guests watched as Sarah, looking gorgeous in her 1940s inspired wedding gown and headpiece and beautiful pastel coloured bouquet, made her entrance and tied the knot with Phil.

The couple's adventurous nature came through during the cocktail hour photo session, when they couldn't help but want to climb the biggest tree by their lawn!
